We care about our Community
The Park is heavily invested in the historic Hamilton Park neighborhood via:
- The Bobcats Football team — GO BOBCATS!
- The Pacesetter School — tutors, mentors, prayers with teachers.
Click here to check out this article on how our United Methodist Woman’s Group mentored a a group of elementary school girls at Pacesetters Magnet Elementary School.
- The Park has an extensive and award winning Prison Ministry.

Prison Ministry
The Prison Ministry is about spreading and sharing the Word with our incarcerated brothers. We have an annual trip in which we deliver gift bags to the units each year around Christmas. If you are male and 18 or older, and would like to attend this life-changing event, please contact us, and we will gladly welcome you.
To get the youth involved in the ministry. Visit a juvenile facility and share the Word with those there and give our youth a chance to exercise their faith to those of their own age.

Angel Tree
During the Christmas Season we will help those in need in our community by hosting an Angel Tree. Please plan on supporting this ministry for our community.
Pathway to Nourishment
Austin Street Shelter
The Park provides a hot meal once a month at the Austin Street Shelter. This offering from the church brings a hot, home style meal to the residents, who often receive cold dinners. Members of the church cook and serve the meal with joy.
Homeless Feeding Ministry
The Homeless Feeding Ministry provides a balanced meal to more than 350 people at the Austin Street Shelter every 3rd Tuesday of each month. The food is prepared by some of our dedicated mature adults at the church. We lift the families up in prayer and fellowship with them. The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Freedom Street Church of the Living God are co-sponsors for this mission. Their assistance is greatly appreciated.
The vision of this ministry is to continue in the building of God’s Kingdom. Helping the inmates who are truly seeking The Kingdom of God find the way though the word of God. We also want them to learn how to trust and believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and not themselves.
