Residents Recall Race-Based Roots Of Hamilton Park

How much do you know about Hamilton Park in Dallas? Two miles beyond the North Park Center sits a neighborhood built for doctors, lawyers, and educators in the 1950s — a segregated, blacks-only community. Some of the area’s original residents still live there, and remember the race-based beginnings very well.
