Over 80 people attended Health Supreme in 2018, a health seminar and eating experience presented by The Park’s Health and Wellness Ministry, which is led by Sherial Zeno and Valder BeBe. The event was held on the same day that the Church-wide fast was launched. Pat Jackson created the idea of presenting vegetarian food to enable those members on the Daniel Fast to understand their options.
The Health Supreme in 2018 event featured Dr. Krystal Barnett, a Chiropractor, who owns Extraordinary Health and Wellness Center, and Chef Cassondra Armstrong, who created an amazing vegetarian buffet. Chef Cassondra’s buffet included: Savory Lentil Salad, Curry Raisin Rice Pilaf, Ethiopian Cabbage, Red Quinoa with Sauteed Spinach, Cauilflower Fritter, Cinnamon-Ginger Sweet Potatoes.

Jerrilynne Davis, church secretary distributed January Prayer Calendars that compliment the Church-wide fast.

Members of the Youth Ministry were excellent as they served as greeters and served food at the buffet.

The Savory Lentil Salad with Chopped Red Onion, Celery, Bell Peppers, Tomatoes and Cucumber was a hit.

The Cauliflower Fritters and Cubed, Roasted Cinnamon-Ginger Sweet Potatoes were very delicious.

Dr. Krystal Barnet gave an inspiring presentation about the connection of the spine to overall health.

The audience was invested on the healthy seminar, and no one moved.
