Dear 2021 Graduates,
With God’s grace, you were able to complete your education in the midst of a worldwide pandemic!! This means you have been trained by hardship to do anything but fail!!
I applaud you and your family for not giving up. Surely it was God who made the difference! The Bible teaches us that “we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.”
As you look ahead at what God has for you, do not focus on the darkness, only on the light. Bravely face it and embrace it. I leave you with encouraging words from another young superstar, Amanda Gorman. She wrote,
“For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it, if only we’re brave enough to be it.”
Dr. Sheron C. Patterson
Sr. Pastor
As the Director of Children and Youth Ministries, I’ve had the wonderful privilege of seeing our graduating Seniors grow in their faith. These graduates are blessings to our church and will contribute great things to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. They have brought many smiles and great energy to our Ignite Youth Group and while we will really miss seeing them each week, we know that God has big plans for each of them.
As they graduate and move on to their future plans, I find great joy and comfort in Jeremiah 29:11, knowing that God has the very best planned for them.
May they continue to grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man. Luke 2:52.
Ms. Kathy
