DART’s 2021 Annual Student Art Contest

Now accepting online entries in all grade levels!

We need your help getting the word out about DART’s 2021 Annual Student Art Contest. This year the contest theme will honor our everyday heroes. The submission deadline is Tuesday, March 23, 2021, and the THEME is: Everyday Heroes Ride DART.

All students (Kindergarten-High School) may submit their entries online, or by mail. View the flyers or visit www.DART.org/ArtContest for the complete details.

“This contest is your chance to salute the hometown heroes that have kept our community going during the pandemic. When creating your entry, think of all the everyday people that have made a positive impact in your life or the lives of others these past few months. They could be teachers, delivery drivers, bus and train operators, grocery store and restaurant employees, construction workers, doctors, nurses, and others who have been on the front lines throughout these challenging times. Heroes come in many forms — show us what your hero looks like!”

Contest Guidelines

1. Designs must be original work created by the student and should illustrate the theme “Everyday Heroes Ride DART.” Contest open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Limit one entry per student. No group entries allowed.
2. Entries must measure 11” high x 17” wide, and the design should be laid out horizontally.
3. Students in all grade levels now have the option of submitting their entries online. All digital entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at DART.org/ArtContest.
4. All mailed entries must include a complete entry form (see below). Affix the completed form to the back of the artwork. Entries must arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, and should be directed to:

5. DART will notify the winners no later than Friday, April 9, 2021.
6. All artwork becomes the property of DART and may be used with appropriate credit to the artist. By entering the contest, you consent to have your name and photograph appear as one of the winners.
