Alzheimer’s Doesn’t Stop. Neither Do We.
The Black/African American Community is twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than their Caucasian counterparts, and less likely to receive a diagnosis. No individual or family should navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease alone.
Join members and leaders from Hamilton Park United Methodist Church and the Alzheimer’s Association for an interactive discussion to learn about the community’s needs, and to strengthen education and support services for Black/African American families in the community.
