March 20th marked the 2nd anniversary of Andre Gardner being diagnosed with ALS. He is still fighting every day.
Due to his four month hospitalization, the trip to California was delayed. Now that Andre is home, we are back on track to raising funds for stem cell treatment in California. We are in a race against time and need to raise funds quickly. Our goal is to get Andre to California by August 23, 2019, to start his first round of treatments on August 24, 2019.
St. Luke Run Club will host a 5k race on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. at Woodrow Wilson Track and Field.
All donations will go directly to Andre in support of his first treatment in California. Andre now requires round-the-clock care and continuous stem cell treatments. Please share the race information with other Run/Walk Clubs.
