Lenten Bible Study
I am happy to state that our church has numerous ongoing Bible studies. I am happy to lead such a biblically literate and Bible-loving congregation.
To highlight the season of Lent, we created a preaching and teaching series and launched a weekly Lenten Bible Study on Wednesday nights. Every Wednesday, from March 6 to April 10, over 20 members of our church participated in a one-hour session that centered on traits we need to grow closer to Christ. Those traits are; spiritual self examination, fasting, forgiveness, releasing strongholds, repentance, and sacrifice.
As this Lenten season draws to a close, I am asking all to take part in our Maundy Thursday worship service on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
By focusing on the passion, suffering and death of Jesus, our Easter/Resurrection morning will be even sweeter.
