A three-day interdenominational exploration of the hermeneutic of Justice, through lecture, celebration, and preaching in the African American context.

Please come join in celebration and support of the Black Seminarians Association of Perkins School of TheologySMU’s 2nd Annual “Preaching Empowerment Series,” November 8th through the 10th. An empowering series of lecture, worship and Gospel proclamation focused on honing the hermeneutic of Justice within the African American context.

The BSA Preaching Empowerment Series is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; seminarians, pastors, and laity alike. All are welcome! Let’s bring our contexts together to learn, share, and grow.

RSVP attendance requested.
Seminarians, pastors, and ministers are invited to preach live for day-of evaluations.
Written sermons are welcome, evaluated, and returned with feedback from local seminary homiletics and theological professors. prior to the event.
