March
Theme: Unity
1 Corinthians 12:12
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
Goal
Allow the Lenten season to unify the congregation by reading and studying the book, “Until Unity” by Francis Chan. He is a New York Times best-selling author, and California pastor who is active in social justice.
His book is $7.40 on Amazon. He writes to remind us that “church unity is not optional.”
We want to be “All In for Easter,” and promote unity church-wide.
Usually, we ask our members to give something up for Lent. This year, the request is to add something — participation in Wednesday morning and or Wednesday evening event.
The Lenten telephone Prayer Call with the Pastor and pastoral staff will be held from 8:00 am to 8:30 am on March 9, 16, 23, 30 & April 6.
Prayer Focus
Becoming the body of Christ / 2 Corinthians 13:11; Philippians 2:2; Psalm 133:1; 1 Peter 3
