4th of July

The Dallas Police Department always strives to provide the best possible safe environment for everyone in the city of Dallas. Dallas Police Northeast Division wants everyone to have a safe and fun 4th of July holiday weekend coming up and is taking extra measures to make sure that mission is accomplished.

Dallas Police Officers and Dallas Marshals will be in and around Hamilton Park neighborhood to provide a visible presence and offer any community assistance if needed.

City of Dallas streets will block off several areas to limit outside high traffic flow and parking violations at Campanella Dr/TI Blvd and blocking the parking lot of Pacesetter Magnet School. Dallas Parking will place “No Parking” signs on Thursday, June 30, 2022. The posted enforcement will state no parking from Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. and ending Tuesday, July 5, at 12:00 a.m.

Dallas Code Enforcement will be enforcing a No Food Truck Policy on July 3rd and 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Dallas Fire Marshal’s Office will also be patrolling with DPD to ensure the City of Dallas Fireworks Ordinance is followed, which reads it is illegal to possess, store, handle, and/or use fireworks in the city limits and officers may write tickets for those violating the law. This offense is punishable by a fine of up to $2,000 and officers may seize the opened fireworks.
