Our church founders would be proud of how we recognized our 65th Anniversary. We blended the modern with the traditional and offered something for everyone. From the first Sunday of October to the last, we lifted up Jesus and our gratitude to still be here.
Truly we illustrated our anniversary theme, “Made Up Minds – Still on Christ.” This theme is based on Nehemiah 4:6.
The Anniversary Jamboree Lifted our Spirits! We had a sell-out crowd for our Anniversary Jamboree on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in the CLC.
Orange and blue decorations colored the room. They dined on festive and tasty hors d’oeuvres. DJ Calvin Spears played the latest and greatest hits. Lakeside former lead singer, Billy G crooned to the audience and went table to table.
The fashion show, directed by Diva G – Gloria Marsh presented dazzling attire with models of all ages. Thank you, Nancy Williams and the Special Days Team, for putting this fantastic event together.
