1 Peter 3:8
“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly and sisterly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.”

Church Family, we illustrated these words this week, as ministered to the Hamilton Park community as it comes to grips with the tragic gun violence that killed 3 and injured 6. Please see the attached photos.

On Monday, July 12, our church collaborated with the Dallas Police Department to host a Community Meeting on our parking lot from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm to discuss crime. The event was well attended, and many members of the community expressed their concerns. Thanks to our members who prepared food to serve, and set up tents and tables.

On July 15, the Lord led me to convene a much smaller group of leaders and decision makers to focus on solutions. About 20 leaders from the community, law enforcement, education, county government, area churches and The Park shared resources that can revive our Hamilton Park.

We are gaining traction, tearing down silos, and striving toward unity in the community.

Please keep your community in your prayers.
