Who
You are being asked to sign a pledge card to indicate the amount of money you would like to give to Hamilton Park UMC in 2020, by either a one-time gift, weekly, monthly, or another arrangement.
What
What is a pledge card? It is a statement of intent by a church member to give a certain amount of money to the local church.
When
We are asking you to spend the month of November praying on an annual amount that you can give in 2020. Then, complete the card and return it on one of the first three Sundays in December.
Why
The Finance Committee needs an indication of what amount of money they can expect from the congregation. We understand that household budgets fluctuate during the year, so no one will harass you if you do not meet your pledge.
How
The Advent season is the perfect time to dedicate and consecrate your 2020 plans to give to the church. Christmas is Jesus’ birthday! That’s why the theme of this Pledge Card Campaign is “Giving Our Gifts to the King!”
