Go Camp is a one-of-a-kind summer day camp experience offering activities that include sports and games, arts and crafts, nature experiences, farming, hiking, fishing, challenge courses, adventure parks, geocaching, and more, all while giving campers the opportunity to know God through being in nature.
Brought to you by the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church, Go Camp programs are designed to bring the summer camp experience to the rural and urban communities of North Texas.
Full Daily Schedule
9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Drop off window assign family groups get to know campers
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – First camp activity
12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Lunch eat with family groups
1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Family group activity and discussion
2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Free time
4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Pick up window
Possible Field Trip Locations
Sailing aboard the Merry Rover Pirate Ship, Guided Hike at Cedar Hill State Park, Paddleboarding on Lake Lewisville, Zip Lining at Trinity Forest adventure Park, and touring the Perot Museum.
What to Bring
- Towel (you may get wet!)
- Casual clothes
- Closed toe tennis shoes for walking, hiking
- MODEST Swimming suit: Girls – One-piece or tankini
- Boys – Trunk or Board Shorts *Or you will be required to wear a t-shirt
- Notepad and Pen
- Backpack
- Water bottle
- Insect repellent
- Sunscreen
- Money for Canteen (small bills only please)
- Drinks, snacks, souvenirs
Campers must have completed 3rd grade in order to attend.
Campers must register online by one week prior to the first day of camp.
